Helping local schoolchildren to continue their studies during Covid

As a family-run business with close connections to Oldbury, we want to be able to give back to the local community whenever we can.

Over the last few months, we’ve become increasingly aware of the issues relating to children struggling to access their studies through remote learning due to a lack of technology.

We, just like many other businesses across the country, want to be able to help children, families and schools overcome this widespread challenge.

With the help of our Accounts and Logistics Executive, Emily Harris, we recently sourced, purchased and donated £13,000 worth of brand new tablets to pupils in the Oldbury area.

All in all, we donated 145 tablets to the five primary schools that are in and around our site – Moat Farm, Woodhouse Academy, Langley, Brandhall and Burnt Tree.

We’re delighted to be able to help our local community in this way – we know all of the tablets will be put to good use and make a real difference to young people’s education during these challenging times.

We hope our efforts will spur other local businesses on to follow in our footsteps. If you’d like any advice or guidance from us on making a donation, contact Emily on 0121 552 0330.
